Prior to installation, you must program the adapter at the iDatalink website to work with your specific vehicle and car stereo. Each factory button can be assigned a radio function using the simple web programming interface. If your vehicle isn't listed, the Maestro is the only steering wheel adapter that lets you program your vehicle via a simple step-by-step web process.
Assign each control a secondary function

Each factory button can be assigned a secondary "press and hold" radio function, thus doubling what can be controlled. Touching the "Volume Up" button, for example, will increase the volume of the song. You may adjust the volume on your car stereo by holding down the "Volume Up" button.
